Save the Theatre On King

Over the last decade, The Theatre on King (TTOK) has become a cornerstone of the Peterborough community, providing a space and resources for artists to create and showcase groundbreaking original work. 

The City of Peterborough recently cut TTOK's Community Investment Grant from $15,000 in 2022 to $0 in 2023. This decision has put TTOK in a perilous situation, fighting for its very existence.

TTOK’s production paradigm remains unchanged: the organization continues to work in connection with multiple community groups across sectors. Despite repeated queries, City Staff have not provided any explanation for the cut. 

Now, TTOK's only option is to appeal the decision before Council.
