Give First-Time Offenders a Chance

I feel that a person who get's in trouble one time with no priors have a felon on their record for the rest of their life.Preventing that person of becoming a productive working citizen.A person who has a non violent crime and it's their first time in trouble and they don't have a criminal record should not have to carry a felony on their background.There are so many men and women who are faced with this, situation what is the reason for the felony of non violent first time offenders.Their are people who have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and this their life after that.Mostly all jobs do a background check and most occupations a person can not work.So can we have justice of the non felony act for first time non violent offenders.I feel if we give these people a second chance the crime rate will go down.Because most people that can not find a job will most likely do something illegal if they get desperate enough.
