Would we stand aside and watch children being raised to fight to the death for entertainment?
Would we allow humans to be beaten with golf clubs and starved to death without so much as a word?
The answer is a known social norm, this behaviour would be intolerable, unacceptable and described as pure evil.
So why are we so blind to the acts of evil being carried out to animals that don't have a voice? Don't have an escape. That is where we come in. It is our duty as loving human beings to protect all that makes up the world and every inhabitant in it.
Even though Dog-fighting and Cock-fighting is illegal in all 50 states and the UK it doesn't mean that it still doesn't happen.
4 to 5 Million animals die in shelters every year due to lack of care and compassion from owners. These facts are the bare minimum of what occures daily all over the world, what we can do is simple-raise awareness give the animals a voice that they will never have, be aware of rescue centres in your city or town such as the UK's RSPCA because there are people out there who can do the things we can't; save animals from the brutality of abusive ownerships.
