Tell the world pedestrians
I am a pedestrian. I walk EVERYWHERE I go. I have to. I am on a limited budget and simply can't afford a car and car insurance and STILL be able to pay my bills.
I am sick of people on bikes, roller skates,and skateboards as well as drivers thinking that because I have ti walk I am a second class citizen...or worse, an enviro-nut.
I am neither. I merely have to try to stretch my monthly budget by choosing the oldest and threfore cheapest form of transpoertaion around on the face of the planet: my own two feet.
If you, ytoo, are a pedestrian and are tired of being treated as a second class citizen, sign my petition and maybe we can make the legislature ENFORCE those laws that say that pedestrians have RIGHT-OF-WAY rights on crosswalks, on sidewalks and whereever else they go.
We, the undersigned of many jusridictions, are banding together to ask our varied legislatures to enforce those laws which protect the pedestrians from being run over, jeered at or otherwise being treated like secind class citizens by others, particulay those on bikes, roller skates and skateboards...as well as drivers who irritate them by cutting them off in the middle of a crosswalk.
We have signed this petiton because we, the pedestrians of the world, are tired of being treated this way.
