Save our Lake

We have allowed our lake to be treated with chemicals for weed control for 10 years or more and it has proven to be

• Ineffective
• Costly
• Harmful to humans, especially children and those with a compromised immune
system.
• Harmful to our pets and wild animals.
• The chemicals may not kill the fish but the chemicals are stored in the fat of the fish
and are not recommended for consumption.
• Destruction of the ecosystem
• Some chemicals don’t dissipate (particularly glysophate) they settle in bottom of the
lake and on our shores especially clay.

Time To Stop
As homeowners on this lake we obviously enjoy the wonderful nature and serenity that our lake provides us, so why are we willing to help destroy it?

It is time to stop with this destructive behavior and implement something that works and is not harmful to our families, pets and the environment.
