DEMAND THAT PAUL HENDERSON BE ENSHRINED IN THE HOCKEY HALL OF FAME

Paul Henderson had seven points including the winning goal in the last three games of the 1972 Summit Series between Canada and the Soviets! Indeed without Paul's heroics and tenacity during the summit, the Soviets would have won! Paul scored not just three game winning goals he scored "THE" goal to win the series for Canada. That goal is as famous as any so called "Golden" goal in the Olympics. Paul scored 236 goals ad 477 points in 707 career games in the NHL. Other's have done less and been elected to the HHOF: Eddie Shore played in 550 career games, scoring 105 goals and recording 284 points; he was elected to the HHOF in 1947! Paul deserves better! Paul Henderson says he is fine with being in the "Canadian Sports Hall of Fame." Apparently he is not upset that he has not been honored by election to the HHOF! Really what would anyone expect him to say? He is a gentleman and would not ever bring bad publicity on the HHOF or hockey in general, all the more reason to put him in! He scored three winning goals against Tretiak and yet Tretiak is in the Hall?? Come on really!!! Other polls have shown as many as 61% of Canadians believe Paul should be there! Come on lets finally push that percentage over the top! Demand Paul Henderson be elected to the HHOF - it is afterall not "The NHL Hall of Fame" and no one, not Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Sidney Crosby, Mario Lemieux, Jean Beliveau etc. etc. have scored a more important goal!
