MARVEL CAST: JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME AS NAMOR, THE SUB-MARINER

First, Namor is the ruthless badass king of Atlantis, who utilizes a trident and will stop at nothing to defend his throne. There is no actor more equipped to take on this role of a timeless anti-hero than Van Damme. In every movie he is in, the writers have to come up with an excuse as to why he has his accent -- he's Atlantean. In every movie he is in, he does some sweet kicks and the splits -- imagine Namor slamming his trident into the ground and kicking a great white shark, or doing the splits to stop a damn nuclear submarine. Adapting a story such as Sub-Mariner: the Depths would offer us human main characters tormented psychologically as they descend deeper into Namor's territory. Imagine Alien, underwater. The reasons this would be amazing are endless. Though as Jean-Claude ages, the matter becomes exceedingly urgent.
