MSSH Uniform Policy

Students in Miami Springs Senior High have always been allowed to wear the sweaters of their choosing. But starting August 18, 2014, this freedom will no longer exist. High school is supposed to be a time where teenagers explore themselves before going off into the "real-world". Not only are we able to discover the type of style we wish to have with sweaters but it will allow us to focus more in our education by not freezing in the frigid classrooms. Also, many students are not fortunate enough to afford a whole new wardrobe just for the accommodation of the School Board. All our lives we have been taught that we are able to do anything we set our mind to. Whether you are a student, a parent, or a concerned citizen you know the feeling of unfair and unnecessary laws. By signing this petition you will help an abundance of students stand up for what we believe is right. We ask that the Administration at Miami Springs Senior High School allow sweaters with designs and any color of the students choosing. Thank you for your time and cooperation.
