I am an agnostic/ spiritualist. Following a report on Pope Francis recently, I was very imrpessed to hear of his intentions to expose and publicly prosecute those in his church who commit, or have committed these heinous crimes against children and others. A confession then released them from any guilt. Priests and vicars from other faiths just want to turn a blind eye and explain it away as weakness of the flesh, they will not confront the issue.
Many of these abused childen have ended their lives through shame and degretation. We should all hang our heads in shame for non exposure of the facts if they were known to us.
