Make Online Violent Threats a Federal Offense.

Whereas many people who believe in various conspiracy theories have often posted threats on Twitter and other social media demanding the incarcerations and executions of then Vice-President Mike Pence and other government officials for treason wheni they refused to overturn the 2020 Presidential Elections,

and whereas such threats helped inspire the Storming of the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, which resulted in five deaths and over two hundred injuries;

therefore, we the undersigned hereby request that the United States Congress pass a law that makes it a federal offense to threaten people with viloence on the Internet and to urge others to commit said acts of violence as well.
