Keep Norristown Lacrosse Alive

Due to "insufficient funding" at Norristown Area High School (NAHS) the boys lacrosse team is no longer a sport for students to be apart of. Being apart of this cultural sport for 8 years means a lot to me because this sport is for one the fastest growing sports in the nation right now. As well as the discipline, communication, and teamwork skills along with others that comes with the sport why wouldn't we want to pass it on and help represent Norristown in another expanding way. When I was a freshman at Norristown less than half of the boys in my grade let alone school didn't know what the sport is, and now today all I see is kids playing and practicing the sport in local parks. Keep in mind this was the only extra curricular some students participated in at all and now can no long present his skills and help himself financially maybe in a further education. So Norristown and surrounding and affected community memebers please sign this petition to at least help us players out to have a lacrosse club at our school. Thank you, Elijah Brewer
