signing this petition will help with the health of kids in Africa who are forced everyday to go out and dig and search for blood diamonds. Our CWS class is splitting up into groups and figuring out problems and solutions to different topics. my group received the topics of Blood Diamonds. we are trying to spread awareness to our community of the harsh lives of the kids in Africa who have to dig these diamonds, and awareness of the jewelry stores who still sell Blood Diamonds today. Our question is "How can we make United States Citizens aware of what blood diamonds are and what companies are selling them in hopes of getting them to stop buying?" The Kimberley Process is an organization that was developed in 2003 to eradicate conflict diamonds from the worlds diamond supply. many people know about the issues caused by Blood diamonds, so we ask you to sign this so we can get the word out to our country about the horrible effects blood diamonds have.
