Sessions Must Step Down After Proven Ties to Russia!

Jeff Sessions is the current US Attorney General. In his confirmation hearing, he was asked directly whether he had any ties to the Trump administration or Moscow and he said no. Now the intelligence community has publicly stated that he did, in fact, meet with Russian ambassadors on two occasions last year. So not only did Sessions lie in his hearing, but he has proven ties to a government we know to be attempting to influence American Politics. 

Now, we must demand that Sessions recuse himself as Attorney General. This is the only reasonable action going forward. If he continues to remain Attorney General, it will be like publicly acknowledging that we're OK with Russian influence directly in our politics.

In his role as Attorney General, Sessions oversees the Department of Justice and the FBI, two organizations that should be investigating him for this lie. He cannot ethically remain in this position now that we know he has lied under oath and may be at the whim of a foreign government.
