STOP CRUEL TRAPPING OF COYOTES IN GRAYSLAKE AND LAKE COUNTY IL.

Grayslake area police and Village Hall has been considering hiring trappers because of Coyote sightings.

THIS IS A CRUEL ACTION!!! The Village Hall states they are also looking into other alternatives but will not state these alternatives!!! We have a RIGHT to KNOW!!!

Coyotes are shy animals...they are more afraid of humans than we are of them. Coyotes are simply curious but attacks on people or dogs are very rare. They are generally protective of their dens. Counties need to educate about coyote behavior and ban Cruel TRAPPING!!! SHOOTING of coyotes also must be BANNED!!!

Irresponsible dog owners are not a good reason to harm these animals!!! I am a dog owner myself and I live where there are many Coyotes without any problems. They scare very easily and run away. Keep your dog leashed...Supervise your dogs and cats..Keep your yard gate closed. Simple steps. Coyotes are a vital part of our ecosystem.
