ICBC, Don't Withhold Licenses for Unpaid Student Loans!

Over half of students graduating from universities in British Columbia graduate with student loans. However, in addition to having to pay off loans, ICBC is considering withholding driver licenses for students with unpaid loans.

Withholding driver licenses for students with unpaid loans is counter-intuitive. Many jobs require holding a valid driver's license and, if their license is withheld, recent graduates could lose their job and the opportunity to earn the money needed to pay off their student loan.

Tell ICBC not to withhold driver licenses!
