Morgan State's Men's Basketball team hasn't had much success in the last few seasons. It's been decided that they will now start their search for new leadership. The best possible place they could look, is in their own backyard. For the past 3 seasons, Polytechnic Varsity Head Coach and Morgan Alumni Sam Brand has won 3 back to back Maryland State Championships. In addition to coaching a local powerhouse during the high school season, Sam also coaches Team Melo and Team USA in the offseason. It would be impossible to find anyone more suitable for the position. Sam has been apart of the Men's Basketball program throughout it's winningest years (2007-2009). Sam has developed players like former MEAC Players of The Year and Morgan State All Time Leader Scorers Corin 'Tiny' Adams and Reggie Holmes. With his unique skill set, and knack for building programs from the bottom up - the choice is seemingly a no brainer.
