hero passes

hero passes should be banned, because they are inclining students to skip rather than their indented purpose for kids to go to class. when a student is late to class they are more inclined not to go to class at all because of the fear of being penalized by detention given by the hero passes flawed system. i have come up with an idea that could change the whole way we go about this

the concept I've come up with is to put electronic scanners into the individual classrooms and have students scan their ids into them clocking them in at whatever time them come into the classroom. this takes out the wasted time spent on going to the front office or trying to find an administrator to get a hero pass. when the student enter the classroom they don't need to speak to the teacher on why they are late simply go to their desk and start work similarly to a college setting. this also eliminates the factor of kids not going to class for fear of penalization from detention because the student would not face repercussions if they made it in by the grace period of 10 minutes per week. However if the student continues to be tarty the consequences of the current hero pass will take place.
