Demand Summa Health System reopens 7 East Hematology Oncology Unit

Sickle Cell Disease patients are not being treated or cared for properly in Summa Akron City Hospital. Nurses who are not qualified or have the skills to provide nonjudgmental effective medical treatment are currently holding these positions. Thus causing Sickle Cell patients to experience increased pain and complications, non therapeutic care as well as demeaning judgement.
