A Grizzly is suspected in the death of a hiker in Yellowstone. It is their home, not ours and if we trespass we must use all caution but be willing to accept the consequences of being the outsider. We are trespassing on their ground, not vice versa. There are few enough Grizzlies left without killing more.
Dan Wenk
Yellowstone Nationla Park Superintendend
Dear Sir
We would like you to remember that we are the intruders in Yellowstone National Park. There are few enough Grizzlies left in the wild without destroying more. Hikers should be made aware of the dangers just like surfers are aware of sharks. The bears should not be killed for defending their home.
