After receiving your message – and those of many other compassionate people – East Riding Council has just rejected the proposal to build a new beagle breeding facility in Yorkshire that would have sent thousands of puppies a year to laboratories to be poisoned, drugged or cut up in painful experiments.

Dogs are loyal, intelligent, playful and affectionate individuals, not test tubes. By speaking out against this proposal, we have achieved a significant victory towards ending the unethical trade in animals for vivisection.
