Walking on the beach or even in the shallow waters of any ocean, you will find plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is known as macro-pollution , meaning pollution you can see. While we can see the plastic floating around in our oceans, many sea creatures cannot. Plastic bags float looking like jelly fish. A leatherback turtle swims by thinking the bag is its favorite snack. Soon, in attempt to eat it, it smothers itself in the plastic, making it difficult to breathe. This example happens everyday, lowering the existence rate of sea turtles. And sea turtles aren't the only animal affected. Please help this cause!
