On July 7, 2017, 122 nation-members of the U.N. agreed to a treaty calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons (nukes). Pope Francis blessed this undertaking. All Popes since Pius XII have said: Nukes must be abolished.
Since the current U.S. Government refused to join the treaty, we Catholics are signing this ipetition to urge all our elected officials such as: Governor Wolf, US Senators Toomey & Casey, US Representatives, as well as PA Senators & Representatives, County and Township supervisors to make a pro-forma endorsement of the Treaty until a future White House occupant does so. The World can't wait.
