The government of Kuwait referred to the National Assembly Decree No. 46 of the year 2014 to approve the law of humane society for animal rights of the GCC states of the draft law, for the Kuwaiti penalties to go up to a year of imprisonment and a fine of no less than one thousand dinars for each person who violates articles of ill-treatment of animals or pet neglect or present for sale when in animals are in an unhealthy condition like mostly seen in poor conditioned markets in Kuwait, or even subjected to scientific experiments without license.
