20% of people in the United States suffer from mental illness. Many people who suffer do not get the proper treatment they need which results in difficulties later in life. Bill H.R. 2337 is a recently introduced idea that Dave Loebsack put out in May of 2017. This bill, if passed will provide a state medicaid option for adolescents under the age of 21 to get the mental health treatement and diagnosis that they need. It will make it easier and cheaper to get the help that all citizens deserve.
