Help to STOP BABY HARP SEAL SLAUGHTER in Canada!
Baby harp seals are known for their precious white fur, which they grow during first days after they were born. This white fur is that white and also their pelts are that soft in average during first 3 months of seal's life. At the age of about one year old they switch into gray. Every year during early spring hundreds of thousands of little baby seals (some of them less then 12 days old!) in Canada are killed by clubbing, hooking and in other inhumane ways.
About 95% of harp seals who are killed in Canada's commercial seal slaughter are between 1 and 3.5 months age - when they could live in average till they are 20-35 years old!!!
This slaughter must be stopped!
All over the world this kind of hunt is restricted, also trading seal products is banned. Canada is the last country where murders of these little fluffy creatures are still legal.
