Petition to pursue criminal investigation of Senator Mitch McConnell (R)

Whereas, in March 16, 2016, President Barack H. Obama, close to ten month into finishing his term as president of the United States, nominated Judge Merrick Garland, hief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, to fill seat of the late Associate Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, the United States, led by Mitch McConnell (R) Kentucky, refused to grant consent, in approval or denial of the replacement candidate, Judge Garland, until the president's term is over, thus---by the tactics of McConnell--- politicizing the judicial process in gambling for a conservative nominee by the potential president-elect.

Wereas, the US Department of Justice is an independent branch of the executive, and as such, it has broad jurisdiction over, among others, the prosecution of government personnel who violate federal laws and the Constitution of the United States.

Therefore, considering that the said senator impeded the Senate from its duty to give consent, by a hearing, to the president's nomination of a supreme court under an unconstitutional arbitrary rule as to WHEN the sitting president of the United States can fulfill its obligation to fill a vacant seat on the Supreme Court of the United States, he, Sen. McConnell has grossly defiled the constitution and must be held in contempt of law.

Whereas, considering the fact the US Attorney is an agent of the Department of Justice, this petition is thus brought to the Worcester US Attorney to prosecute the aforementioned grievance, in a federal criminal court.
