Demand Road Paving for Gulf Highlands and Palm Terrace Gardens

With the rough weather approaching it seems as though the county is only concerned about the storm pumps placed within the retention ponds. But they aren't the ones who have to deal with the problems under the flooded roads!

If our Commissioner and his office staff lived in our neighborhoods they would see that this is an even bigger issue and one that only gets worse with the increase in rain. Roads are cracked, chunks of asphalt are piled up and the pot holes are a true cause for concern.

The residents of Gulf Highlands as well as Palm Terrace Gardens need newer roads! ..And not the cheap government patch job that deteriorates and falls apart within a month from travel and weather.

It's bad enough our children need to ride their bikes on the road because there aren't any sidewalks (Palm Terrance Gardens) least we can do is give them a safe road to ride on as well. These roads are a nuisance to pedestrians, bikers and drivers.
