There are several dogs from the animal cruelty case on Love Joy Lane being kept at the Laurens County Pound. These dogs have had several people wanting to adopt them. It is my understanding the dogs haven't been released because of the pending court.This means the dogs could be kept at the pound for up to TWO years! There are several Boston Terriers and Chihauhau's that will never make it two years there! These are INSIDE dogs that don't tolerate hot or cold weather not to mention all the sick dogs that get taken in there. These poor dogs have been through too much already! Laurens County needs to RELEASE the dogs to be adopted out NOW! If they are kept at the pound two years, they will either die there or be so feral no one will be able to adopt them! This is just so WRONG to put these dogs through anymore when they could have a loving home with a loving family like they deserve!
