Thanks to the science behind mRNA, which gave us the COVID-19 vaccine and saved the world from a deadly pandemic, we are making real headway into a vaccine that, combined with other drugs, can stop skin cancer from returning.

But all that progress is in real jeopardy, thanks to RFK Jr. and his crusade against vaccines.

Last August, he cut $500 million from mRNA research programs, including the Moderna program working on the skin cancer vaccine.

Earlier this month, the FDA announced it would be rejecting Moderna’s new flu vaccine because it was built on mRNA. This leaves scientists very concerned that RFK Jr. might outright reject a skin cancer vaccine simply because it was built with mRNA.

RFK Jr. believes mRNA is ineffective and can encourage viral mutations, even though there is no evidence that that’s the case.

We cannot allow his baseless conspiracy theories to derail vitally important scientific progress. People’s lives are at stake!
