Enact Federal Legislation for Factory Farms

In the United States, there are many "factory farms." These farms are designed to produce as many animals as they can. They often are filthy. For example, pigs may be placed in crates so small that they can barely move and be forced to breed as often as they are capable of. Many animals suffer from infections and even die from such conditions. This can not be healthy for the animals or the humans that later eat such animals, raised in these conditions. That is why, I am asking you to enact federal legislation that would require clean spaces for these animals with enough room to move around.
