We ain't TRICKIN', Open up MCMICKEN This is not a solution to prostitution!

Please sign our petition to have our street re-opened and our public bus service restored.

Prostitution is one of the oldest professions known to man. The prostitution on West McMicken Avenue has been a well known issue for the past 3 terms of council. Community residents in this area have gone to the Cincinnati Police, Over the Rhine Community Council and City Council on this issue to have it addressed. We were given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't do anything to help get these girls off the street. However, on April 30, 2014 Residents woke up to find the street barricaded. No access from visitors, no access to the public bus services; with no warning and no notice. We DEMAND our street be re-opened and that a more community friendly approach be taken. PLEASE CALL: AMY MURRAY, CINCINNATI CITY COUNCILWOMAN amy.murray@cincinnati-oh.gov513-352-3640; YVETTE SIMPSON CINCINNATI CITY COUNCIL WOMAN yvette.simpson@cincinnati-oh.gov, 513-352-5260; DISTRICT ONE POLICE CAPTAIN JOHN 513-352-3024 AND THE MAYOR’S OFFICE JOHN CRANLEY mayor.cranley@cincinnati-oh.gov, 513-352-3250.

Greetings Everyone
Thank you soooo much for your thoughts and prayers as we are STILL being held without bus service and are at risk because ambulances and EMS vehicles are being forced to re-route. We have had at least 6 EMS runs to this area (400 block) because we have several people who suffer from chronic conditions and because they have not been able to keep doctor appointments and get prescriptions filled in a timely manner, again because we have no bus. Our lives are at HIGH RISK.

Thank you to everyone who came out today to the rally. We collected over 75 signatures and are looking forward to collecting many more. Please help us by continuing to spread the word.

Last few days to sign and share. Please help us. We have poor, elderly, disabled, students, working class people who have had our buses taken away. This has been the worse summer and people at District One and City Hall only care about the petty bourgeoisie....... We have been told we do not count!!
