Stop the Morgan trash transfer station in the town of Mentz.

We need to tell the town we do not want the trash transfer station in our town. It will not be an asset as we will have to deal with garbage trucks running all day from Cayuga and Wayne county. They will be bringing garbage with who knows what kind of allergens and cancer causing dust that will be released into the air. Then there is the smell . The smell can travel 5 miles so that will reach the village of Port Byron. So now the smell can mingle with the Maiden Lane manure lagoon. Port Byron will be known for its stinking garbage instead of the wonderful Erie Canal. What will it do to our property values , and our well water? Tell them to put it in someone else’s town!
