Partisan votes are becoming to common, and the issues are no longer taken into consideration. Lobbyists, special groups and pork funded policies are corrupting the congress and stagnating the protection and growth of this country. We, as the people, are hurt by their reckless and selfish laws that do more harm than good. Rules, regulations and restrictions handicap the entrepreneurs, inventors and businessmen of this country to create and implement new innovations for a cleaner and better world.
What we need is a nationwide effort for every state legislature to enact a law that will force their U.S. Senators to vote the way the state wants them to vote. Any issue that is not part of the original intent of the federal government (defense, diplomacy, and commerce) should be decided by the state as to how the senators should vote. They represent the state and should vote according to what is best for the state and not their party. This could help eliminate excessive abuse with lobbyists and pork subsidies. The states need to defend their rights as it was described in the 10th amendment of the constitution.
The results of this law could be positive in so many different ways. Let me know what you think.

We have been deceived too many times by saying, "It's called voting that holds them accountable." They hold an office for SIX YEARS! They are servants of the people and our state representatives are more in tune with what is right for the state. Senators, need to understand, they represent us and not the party. Look at the resent Omnibus bill, do you think any state would allow a budget like that? We can look at other bills that passed that are not inline with our state values.
