Federal Law Enforcing Health Insurance to Include Home Birth in their Coverage

Insurance will not cover home birth because it is not a federal funded law. Midwifes  are registered and trained professionals. It costs almost over $7,000 to do an at home birth. Having passed all the necessary tests in which one is qualified under "low risk" to have an at home birth insurance should provide some sort of coverage. Women should not be forced in having their only option being able to deliver at hospitals because they cannot afford at home births, especially if they pay Health Insurance every month.
