Common Sense Gun Laws?

With all of the madness going on relating to gun violence and mass shootings, is the solution disarming the people who actually do have "legal" fire arms? I have yet to meet a criminal who uses a gun to commit crimes, follow the law to get the gun! VERY rarely if ever! So, no background check, no "legal" purchase! The "common sense" laws are already on the books. Why aren't we enforcing those laws and why is the "party of no guns" selling illegally obtained guns to cartels (thank you Obama administration = Democrats)? Duh! That's NOT common sense. The new Red Flag Law is too vague and fraught with ways to abuse. Question, what if someone turned in the names of politician's protection details, what would happen? Would they be disarmed by a squad of swat officers at un unusual times? The final question is why has the incidents increased in the last few years, coincidentally with the decline morals and the do what you want and who you want to with? To paraphrase a singer I listen to songs, the loss of morals in a country leads to the death of a country. Let's enforce the laws (ALL of them - regardless of position) on the books, not adding to the ineffective and unenforced laws that only legal and law abiding citizens follow. This is truly a political game.
