Demand Slumlords Are Forbidden to Rent With The Presence of Deadly Black Mold

Europe has banned this from happening. I currently reside in an apartment which flooded. The Landlord was supposed to properly remediate the mold. He did not, therefore, it keeps growing back. I had two pets die and one who is very ill with fungal infiltration in her lungs. Myself and adult children living with me, have been suffering from chronic sinus, respiratory, and skin conditions. I am being monitored for multiple myeloma, a rare but terminal form of blood and bone marrow cancer. This condition has been linked to black mold poisoning. It’s not just as simple as “move” then. I am on disability, and the requirements for rental are ridiculous! I have a poor credit score due to medical bills, etc., and how does a person make three times the amount of monthly rent? If I did, I would certainly purchase a home..NOT RENT ONE!! NO ONE DESERVES TO LIVE IN SUB-STANDARD living conditions. SLUMLORDS SHOULD NOT EXIST! PERIOD.
