Time for a New U.S.A!

**Petition to Declare Independence from Washington D.C. and Establish a New Capital in Multiple Locations Across the United States**

We, the undersigned citizens of the United States of America, hereby petition for a fundamental change in our nation's governance and structure. 3. **Implement Ranked-Choice Voting**  
   Ensure all citizens, including children and animals (via legal guardians), participate in selecting the new capital locations through ranked-choice voting.

4. **Restoring Principles of Equality and Justice**  
   Reaffirm that all people—including women, minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, children, and persons with disabilities—have equal rights and representation. Abolish policies that regress toward inequality, discrimination, and suppression.

5. **Reform Government Policies**  
   - Repeal laws that aim to restrict healthcare, vaccines, and reproductive rights.  
   - Reinstate and expand funding for programs like the Special Olympics.  
   - Protect and promote access to education, including in-person college courses, cooking classes for adults with special needs, and free nutritious meals in schools.  
   - Ban violent or harmful content involving children and animals on social media platforms.  
   - Limit entertainment industry work hours to promote well-being.  
   - Restore public broadcasting services such as PBS and NPR.  
   - Regulate media to reduce reliance on religious, shopping, or sensationalist channels.  
   - Promote environmental sustainability through nationwide cleanup drives and transition to renewable energy, including free hybrid or nitrogen-powered cars.  
   - Support community-based solutions to homelessness, including tiny houses, mental health programs, and job training.  
   - Establish a universal basic income of $500 per month for all citizens.  
   - Remove rent controls where they hinder economic growth, and support fair housing policies.

6. **Addressing Territorial and International Issues**  
   - Grant U.S. territories the choice to become states or independent nations.  
   - Relocate Smithsonian Museums and the National Zoo to the new capital locations.  
   - Support Hawaiian independence, recognizing its history and current sovereignty issues.

7. **Honor Historical Contributions**  
   Recognize the role of horses in American history, advocating for a month where mail delivery is exclusively by horse and rider to celebrate this heritage.

8. **Promote Citizens' Participation in Governance**  
   - Allow all citizens—including animals represented by guardians—to vote and run for office.  
   - Eliminate political parties and celebrity candidates from government elections.
