Keep Bryan Freeman Park Safe and Pleasant for All

On pleasant days the park is full of young people. Some kids curse, misuse the equipment, fight, litter and make it unpleasant for the rest of the community to feel safe and enjoy the park. I personally broke up a fight and have tried to speak to kids about their behavior. I felt harassed. I met with the police chief last year, and wrote a letter to the mayor at the time. This petition is one step after many initial steps. Consistent police physical presence is desired to maintain the climate of the park. Small signs should be posted around the playground with rules and a number to call police.
