DON'T LET THE GAS CHAMBER BILL DIE! THREE WEEKS LEFT!
Michiganders: SB 354 passed the Senate unanimously last fall, yet it still awaits a hearing and vote in the House Committee on Local Government. The legislature has only THREE weeks left before it adjourns for the year; if the bill has not passed by then, it will die and will need to be re-introduced in next year’s session. Please call the committee chair, Rep. Amanda Price, at 517-373-0838 and ask her NOT to let that happen!
What’s more, the following Senators not only voted YES for SB 354 (in fact, ALL of the Senate did!), but they clearly thought it was important enough to sign on as co-sponsors as well. If your Senator is included in this list, please also ask him or her to contact Rep. Price to find out what the holdup is!!!
