When Mistu was rescued from a property she was in a desperate state. Upon arriving at the Calgary Humane Society, her white coat was severely matted and dirty, her little paws were crusted with fecal matter, and her eyes were plastered with dirt. 

Having survived such a horrific life, it's no wonder that Mitsu was extremely fearful and shut down. All she had ever known from people was cruelty and neglect.

However, despite her heartbreaking past, Mitsu eventually found her happy ending. After three months in the shelter, this once fearful little dog was adopted to her forever home where she will finally receive the love and care that she deserves.
