Guide dogs are far more than excellent mobility aids: they provide companionship, as well as enhance confidence and independence. Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) is working hard every day to create a world with greater inclusion, opportunity, and independence by optimizing the unique capabilities of people and dogs.

But we can't complete this mission on our own.

GDB is committed to providing services for our clients free of charge, including personalized training and extensive post-graduation support, plus financial assistance for veterinary care, if needed.

That's where you come in. Preparing and training our guide dog teams is a very resource-intensive mission. By learning more about the work GDB does and spreading the word about the amazing services GDB provides, you can help prepare highly qualified guide dogs to serve and empower individuals who are blind or have low vision from throughout North America.
