NURSES NEED A PROFESSIONAL VOICE: National Nurse for Public Health at the office of the Surgeon General

House Resolution Bill 379 will require a Chief Nurse Officer as the National Nurse for Public Health within the Office of the Surgeon General. This position will give nurses a professional voice for leading public health, providing outreach and education, and guidance for public safety. Give nurses the voice at the National level to promote evidence-based practice and disease prevention.
