58 YEARS LATER

58 Years ago I landed in Pusan Korea assigned to the 1st Marine Division
where I spent the next year in combat against the North Korean and Chineese Armies. After witnessing buddies killed and frozen feet and living in a tent at 27 degrees below zero I did persevere and made it back to the states in one piece. I was one of the lucky ones. From what I see on T Vand read in the newspaper nothing has changed. The De-Militarized zone
is being guarded by American and South Korean troops who were not even born, back in 1953 when the line was drawn in the sand. Now North Korea is persuing Neclear Arsonals and are rattling sabers by a maniac and theUnited Nations who sent us over there back then are doing nothing to stop him. Our President has been traveling the world claiming to find apeaceful solution to the situation by his smooth orations, which has verylittle substance for a solution to the problem. One hit in Heroshima Japan ended World War II and saved many lives. Too bad Harry T. isn't around today, with the wimps running the show presently
