End Illegal Poisoning of Dogs and Cats

The practice of using poison, in this case strychnine based, to kill dogs and cats must stop. Pet owners are left distraught at the death of their beloved pets in this cruel and barbaric way. This week alone has seen 12 pet cats poisoned in this manner. The Government must be urged to implement further legislation to end this practice to stop the unnecessary suffering to animals and before a child dies as a result touching poisoned bait.
We the undersigned ask the Government of the TRNC to further implement the legislation against the illegal use of poison to cause the death of so many dogs and cats. The use of poison in this way leaves pet owners distraught at the loss of their beloved pets. It is only a matter of time before a child dies through the laying of poisons in this manner. Thank You.
