Florida House Bill 7095 Would Put Your Local Pharmacy Out Of Business.

   HB 7095 proposes to restrict  small, independently owned retail pharmacies  from filling your narcotic prescriptions, yet allows the larger retailers such as Walgreens, CVS and Walmart to do the same.  What does this mean for our customers? If you have a prescription for a pain killer and an antibiotic, you can't  get the painkiller  filled at our store anymore and must go to a larger chain for that prescription! If you are a cancer patient, you can't get the pain medication at our store anymore! If you are in chronic pain you can no longer have that prescription filled  at our store. So, for hundreds of existing/ potential  customers it becomes too inconvenient to  patronize our store and we eventually go out of business.   Our  legislators in Tallahassee believe that larger retail pharmacies will provide better record keeping and service  than your local community stores. Last year one of those retail chains  had to pay over 60 million dollars in state fines for their record keeping.                                                             If you agree that HB 7095 unfairly targets the small independent pharmacies in the State of Florida  , we ask you to sign this petition!
