Ford - Help Us Save the Mustang

      In the early 1960's Ford Motor Co. settled on the name "Mustang" for its most well known car since the Model-T.  The mustang name evoked romantic images of free-spirited horses of the West in wide-open spaces.  It was truly an American image & became as popular in transportation as the living, breathing Mustang.
      Many of us have been protesting the current roundups of the Mustang horses by the Bureau of Land Management.  These horses no longer run free on public lands & many are gruesomely slaughtered.  We the undersigned are asking the Ford Motor Co. to join us in the protest since the Mustang has done so much for their company through its name & image.  We are requesting that Ford ask Congressional lawmakers & the Dept. of the Interior to stop the roundups & protect the Mustangs as one of America's icons deserves.
