Lancastria-Recognition-Campaign

The troopship Lancastria sank 17th June 1940 with a survivors estimated 5-10,000 British Troops women and children onboard. Yet the man in the street has not heard of the disaster. FRANCE: In France they have a suitable monument at St nazaire near the wreck site. They have a street called Esplanade Lancastria and a school house named after her. Plus Alex Salmond Scottish First Minister gave a memorial medal in 2008 extended it to the British survivors and families of those lost. This year Scotland unvieled a Monument on the Clyde to the disaster. The question is from all concerned is "What have our British Government done in reply to all of this" and the reply always comes back with "Nothing".
Please go here: https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Lancastria-Recognition-Campaign/171803122884755 to see the short film from survivors. There you can go to our online petition and then please pass it on. Or write to your local MP. There is a film in the making with survivors stories: www.lancastriabritfilm.co.uk the film web site. Thank you.
