Marissa's Recovery

Our daughter is suffering from Severe Ataxia due to extra hemorrhaging after surgery for a brain tumor that was discovered when she was 17 1/2 years old.  Thankfully there are no signs of tumor re-growth after two years, however, she's still in a wheel chair. She is at Casa Colina working at intense physical and occupational therapy and it will take at least another 6 months to 1 year for them to help her walk again.  We've been informed our insurance only covers 100 days per year at a facility like this and that ends in March. We, her parents, work all the hours we can and lots of extra jobs of handyman and sewing/mending through our DBA of Mz Enterprises, but it's not enough.  I've wracked my brains trying to think of how to come up with the money to pay for her necessary stay at the facility and it finally came to me. I placed an event ad on craigslist and the only response was a woman who recommended I place it here. A cute little creature that I copyrighted is on products and was part of a small business I started years ago, didn't perfect and had no money to advertise. I discovered the website store is still open (cafepress.com/eyalater). The address is still there as well.  I'd rather checks be written directly to my daughter but that would stop her only income of Social Security she's received since turning 18.  Products available include T-shirts, Sweatshirt, Camisole, Tote Bag (great for re-usable shopping bag-Go Green!), Coffee Mug, Infant/Toddler T-shirt, Bib, Teddy Bear, Mousepad, License Plate Frame, Magnet and Sticker.  We have no other resources, are struggling to keep our home for her and our two younger children. Family and friends have helped all they can, our debt has grown worse since she's been ill, we almost lost our home 5 times, liquidated all assets worth anything and we have two old cars that need fixing. All this we can handle, slowly, with our income but we can not come up with the amount of money it takes at this facility she needs.  This is not a scam; we're not asking for pity, are aware of how difficult the economy has been for many and the many cases that may be worse then ours. I just can't bare my daughter having survived major surgery only to suffer the rest of her life because of negligence. Please feel free to email (beachym3@aol.com)  me with any questions. The photo is a before and after of our daughter (age 17 and 19).  The extra hemorrhaging she suffered was because of a malfunctioning EVD tube and the harsh treatment from a nurse in which the hospital is denying. No attorney will take her case without at least $30,000 from us first which obviously we don't have. The hospital literally told us to 'Be glad life saving surgery was performed'. Yes, it was and we are thankful in that sense. Severe Ataxia is manageable but our daughters' life is changed (ruined) forever; please help us help her at least be able to walk again. I say at least because her speech and eyesight were also damaged. Her new doctors and us are still struggling to come up with ways to fix it.  Thank you for your consideration and charity.
