Millions of animals slaughtered every year.

We the undersigned. Millions of animals are slaughtered on our roads every year. How many little corpses did you see on your last journey. I counted eight dead animals along four miles of road. including a pet cat and a fox. The heaviest death numbers are between April and July when most of our wild life are  breeding. There are millions of miles of roads in britton, so the death toll to wild life is unthinkable. So how can we reduce that death toll to our precious wild life. Tunnels can be included when building new roads, and not one every five miles or so but one every couple of hundred yards on our more busiest roads. makeshift bridges over our motorways would also help. Small diameter wire mesh fences along our busiest roads
 would be a great help instead of miles of expensive timber fences we see along our motorways today, that doe's nothing to prevent animals from getting onto our motorways.  Thank you all for reading this letter
