NY- Monitor Chinatown for Endangered Species Products

  • av: Animal Advocates
  • mottagare: NY City Mayor Bloomberg,  NY State Governor Cuomo

Many by-products of endangered species make their way into the unregulated black market in ethnic neighborhoods, such as Chinatown as there is a belief that consuming these products have medicinal properties, despite leading Chinese scientists and doctors stating they do NOT.

Rhino horns, tiger bones & tiger wine, and shark fins for soup are but a few of the critally endangered species being exploited to the brink of extinction.

We ask that you put more investigation into stopping this black market, and ban the sale and trade of rhino, tiger and shark products.
